Please check all roles you are interested in. ** I am interested in Wish Granting Wish Granting: Volunteers work directly with the children and families throughout the wish granting process. Volunteers assist in interviewing the child, obtaining the items for the wish, and planning the wish. Training is mandatory. Yes  No ** I am interested in the Speaker's Bureau Program Speaker's Bureau: Representatives for MAWOCIE are often invited to speak at adult and youth service organizations, corporations, school groups, etc. Some speaking engagements include: sharing general Make-A-Wish Information, accepting a check on the Foundation's behalf, giving a plaque presentations or thank you pieces. Knowledge of Make-A-Wish and the ability to speak in front of small to large groups is required. Training is mandatory. Would you be interested in assisting with this type of event? ** I am interested in the Kids for Wish Kids program Kids for Wish Kids: Children under the age of 18 can participate in the Make-A-Wish mission through various youth organizations. Some examples include: Make-A-Wish elementary/middle school/high school clubs, church groups, Girl Scout Troops, etc. Various youth organizations have helped with things such as gift card drives, providing travel backpacks for our wish kids, helping put together scrapbooks for wish families and donors and hosting fundraisers to sponsor wishes. Yes  No If yes, which youth organization(s)? ** I am interested in Team Barker Team Barker: Team Barker: Ambassador Doc-Barker, canine ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America now attends canine events throughout the year at a variety of different pet related venues. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us introduce the Foundation to the canine community at these types of events. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a pet volunteer program.
