Ways You Can Make a Difference In Lieu of Gifts: So, you're not worried about getting a coffee pot, toaster oven or gravy boat? Consider asking your guests to donate to the Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire in lieu of purchasing gifts. We'll set up and manage an online giving site for you. All you have to do is spread the word to your guests! Favors: Make your favors unique and meaningful. Your guests won't quickly forget your generosity when they see that you have made a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® in their honor. We'll create the template and you decide where to display the cards. Sell Your Dress: Your dream dress can help children's dreams become reality. Many brides are choosing to sell their wedding gown once the day is over. If this is you, why not think about selling it for the Make-A-Wish Foundation? It's a great way to give your dress even more meaning! Gift Cards/Toys: Here's a fun idea if your wedding is taking place during the holiday season (or even if it's not!). Instead of gifts, ask your guests to bring gift cards or unwrapped toys to your bridal shower or wedding. It's a different twist and also a lot of fun! Charity Gift Registry: By creating a Gift Registry with the I Do Foundation, up to 10% of your guests' gift purchases from partnering stores will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
